I found an ad on craigslist in late August for a sewing table. When I emailed to ask how much they said just come get it! I was like WOO HOO! So I went and picked it up, the guy said that if no one had responded to their ad he was going to chop it up and use it for the furnace this winter!! I was glad I answered the ad.
So here is the before picture
Here is what I did with it
These fairies are not my creation, I just found some online that I liked and I drew them onto the furniture.

I love this! The fairies are great, no matter whose creation they are. I think it's just perfect in a spot designed for creativity, too. There's something about fairies that makes me feel imaginative. Love it.
ReplyDeleteAnd as to your question on my blog... Yep. It was O'Reilly.
Your drawing skills are just as impressive as the makeover. You truly created a one-of-a-kind re-design. Well done!

ReplyDeleteVery clever and unique. Even though you found some on-line, you still drew them! That takes quite a bit of talent -- they're very intricate. I'm excited to follow you, and invite you to visit my blog and do likewise.
