So since reading all these blogs and seeing the amazing things that people are doing with furniture, I decided to jump on the DIY band wagon. I have always done these types of things, but there was never a name for it.
Here is one of my favorite finds so far
Our local thrift store has a TON of stuff, I found this very cute hutch kid size for $40, but then it was 20% off so I got it for $32!!!!

This thing is REAL wood people. I know, I kinda cringed when I decided to paint it and not stain it, but little girls don't like wood colors, they want PINK!
